Valgard: Realm of the Vikings - Build & Compete

Paultons Park and Texel Raptor are excited to invite theme park enthusiasts, norse builders and Parkitect fans to participate in a new creative contest celebrating Paultons Park’s brand new Valgard: Realm of the Vikings themed area. Valgard is Paultons Park’s largest investment to date and sees the introduction of the park’s first inverting rollercoaster, Drakon. The new Viking-themed land also features Vild Swing, a UK-first ride that swirls riders 12 metres in the air, and Raven, a thrilling bobsled adventure that complements the Viking village experience. Paultons Park’s new highly themed Feasting Hall restaurant is complete with a life-size Viking longship dining experience and curated menu. 

To enter the contest you need to submit a creation for Paultons Park and Parkitect. This can either be an in-game Parkitect build clearly inspired by Paultons Park’s new Valgard: Realm of the Vikings area or any of the rides or dining hall that’s a part of it. Or if you prefer, a piece of digital artwork clearly inspired by Valgard: Realm of the Vikings and Parkitect.

Once you’re happy with your creation, share it on a social media platform (X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or Youtube), tag the official Paultons Park and Texel Raptor/Parkitect accounts (see FAQ), and submit your creation to us.

The contest ends on 2026-07-19, and a panel of judges consisting of Paultons Park and Texel Raptor team members will evaluate the submissions and crown the winner by early August. Entries will be judged based on creativity and technical skill. The winner will receive four (4) entry tickets to Paultons Park in 2027, to be among the first to ride the all-new water coaster, on a date chosen by the winner. The winner will also receive a Parkitect DLC of their choice and a Parkitect poster. 

There will also be prizes for the second and third place who will receive some physical merchandise from Paultons Park, a Parkitect DLC of their choice and a Parkitect poster.

FAQ

  • I’m not from the UK: Can I still submit?
    • Absolutely! We welcome entries from around the world, however you’ll have to arrange your own travel and accommodations to Paultons Park if you win.
  • How do I know the social media account I’m tagging in my post is the official one?
  • For a digital art work submission can I submit a photo of something hand drawn or painted?
    • Yes, just make sure the photo is of a good quality so we can give it a fair assessment :)
  • Can I use AI to generate my artwork or creation?
    • No, we ask that you create your artwork or creation yourself.
  • Is it alright to use mods for a creation made in Parkitect?
    • Yes! As long as the used mods are available somewhere by the end of the contest so we can load your submission.
  • Can I post my creation on another social media platform other than the ones listed above?
    • To be officially eligible for the contest, your entry must be posted on at least one of the listed platforms and tag both accounts. However, you’re of course free to share your creation on other channels as well if you’d like! :)
  • I haven’t been to Valgard: Realm of the Vikings yet, how can I get inspiration?
  • Can I create something inspired by other areas or rides at Paultons Park?
    • To be eligible to win this contest, your submission must include the Valgard: Realm of the Vikings area or any of its rides. Entries will be judged based on the creativity and technical skill shown in recreating the Valgard-themed elements.
  • Can I include other elements of Paultons Park in my submission in addition to Valgard: Realm of the Vikings?
    • Yes! You’re welcome to include other areas or rides of Paultons Park as part of your creation, with the exception of any Peppa Pig World related elements.

Terms & Conditions

The Contest Organizers (Paultons Park and Texel Raptor) invites contestants on this date (2026-05-17) to participate in this contest of creativity, skill and attention to detail, where submissions will be evaluated and one winner will be selected to receive the prize.

By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions:

  • Eligibility
    • Contestants under the age of 18 years need parental or guardian consent in order to claim their prize if they win. 
    • Employees of the Contest Organizers are not eligible to participate.
  • Submission Guidelines
    • Submissions must be original works created by the contestant.
    • Post an image or video of your creation on social media and tag the official Texel Raptor and Paultons Park accounts on the platform. 
      • If you post on Instagram you only need to tag Paultons Park’s account
    • Fill out the official submission form with accurate and complete information. 
    • Only one entry per person will be accepted.
    All entries must be received by the end of 2026-07-19.
  • Restrictions
    • Submissions may not include any Peppa Pig World-related rides or branding.
  • Judging and Winner Selection
    • The first, second and third place submissions will be selected by a jury consisting of members of Texel Raptor and Paultons Park. 
    • Judging criteria: Submissions will be evaluated based on creativity, technical skill and attention to detail in capturing details from the real world Valgard: Realm of the Vikings.
  • Notification of winner
    • The winners will be contacted via their submitted email early in August and later announced via Social Media channels using their submitted nickname or social media handle.
  • Prizes
    • The first prize winner will receive a package including: Four (4) entry tickets to Paultons Park (New Forest, Hampshire, England) in 2027 to be among the first to ride the all-new water coaster, on a date chosen by the winner. The winner will also receive a Parkitect DLC of their choice and a Parkitect poster. 
      • The winner needs to book their own travel and accommodation for the visit. 
    • The second and third prize winner will receive physical goods from Paultons Park, a Parkitect DLC of their choosing and a Parkitect poster. 
    • These prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods/services. 
    • The winners are solely responsible to declare any potential taxation in the winners country of residence
  • Intellectual Property
    • By entering the contest, contestants grant the Contest Organizers a license to use their submissions for promotional or marketing purposes. 
    • Contestants retain ownership of their submissions.
  • Liability
    • The Contest Organizers will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Contest Organizers take no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
  • Privacy
    • Personal information collected during the contest will only be used for the purposes of administering the contest and delivering prizes.
  • Governing Law
    • The contest is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
